Operation
All doors are counterbalances per manual operation and motorisation is optional. There is a wide range of control methods available with motorised doors which can be discussed when determining your requirements.
Finish
Available in standard clear anodised finish (matt natural), but can be powder coated as an option.
Curtain – is constructed of 12 mm aluminium tubes interspaced with clear polycarbonates links forming a brick pattern
Side Guide – 50mm x 30mm extruded aluminium aluminium section with specifically shaped retainer to enable us of optional nylon buffer
Locking – is centrally mounted two way Mortice Key Lock mounted within mid rail at approximately 900mm above floor level. Alternatively the locking can be placed within the Bottom Rail section
Bottom Rail – 29mm x 48mm specially extruded snap on section to prevent door from rising through the bulkhead, yet enable ease installation where recessed guides are used.
Brackets – Manufactured from 90mm x 40mm slotted angles
Roller Drum – Manufactured from 150mm or 230mm spiral ducted tube attached to ball bearing drum wheels rotating on a 34mm steel shaft. The shaft shall be fitted with helical springs designed to counterbalance the curtain weight throughout its operation. The drum shall be designed to give minimum deflection over the span.
Mullions – Specially designed 130mm x30mm one piece extrusion for straight openings and two piece sections that can be set to any angle and shall be used for wide openings and multiple door installations.
Mullions shall be lift out type with shoot bolts to base. Special wide mullions fabricated from aluminium sheet shall be used when two doors meet at an acute angle and no headroom exists for different mounting heights of doors (stacking).
