Features

 Economical, lightweight and sturdy aluminium grilles ideal for medium to large openings, offering maximum airflow and visibility without sacrificing strength and security.

Operation

All doors are counterbalances per manual operation and motorisation is optional. There is a wide range of control methods available with motorised doors which can be discussed when determining your requirements.

Finish

Available in standard clear anodised finish (matt natural), but can be powder coated as an option.

Curtain – Atlas’s 19mm Grilles curtain is constructed from 19mm extruded aluminium tube at 75mm centres, connected with 35mm x 3 mm specially designed links spaced at 500mm centres forming a brick pattern.

Side Guide – Are 100mm x 38mm aluminium extrusions which can be fitted with mohair felt buffer for quieter operation.

Locking – Can be fitted to all doors. Locking is centrally mounted within the bottom rail

Bottom Rail – 114mm x 60mm extruded aluminium section incorporating locking device and concealed locking rods and optional PVC buffer.

Brackets – Manufactured from 90mm x 40mm mild steel.

Roller Drum – Manufactured from 165mm or 219mm seamless tube attached to self lubricating bearings rotating on a 35mm steel shaft. The shaft shall be fitted with helical springs designed to counterbalance the curtain weight throughout its operation. The drum shall be designed to give minimum deflection over the span.
