Curtain

Is constructed from 90mm x 1.4mm thick extruded aluminium. Both ends of the aluminium slats are fitted with specially shaped nylon moulded end clips to reduce friction during operation and prevent lateral movement within the guides.

Slotting of the aluminium slats is available in varying sizes from 160mm x 60mm up to 600mm x 60mm for ventilation and have the added option of clear polycarbonate infills being fitted to reduce and add visibility where ventilation is not required. Alternatively, the slats may have perforated with 6.5mm diameter holes x 9.0mm centres.

Side Guide

100mm x 41mm extruded aluminium fitted with mohair felt  buffer for quiet operation.

Locking

Doors are generally motorised, but can be fitted with standard two point locking.

Bottom Rail

Extruded aluminium tee section specially manufactured to interlock with curtain.

Brackets

Manufactured from 10mm mild steel.

Roller Drum

Manufactured from 165mm or 219mm seamless tube attached to self lubricating bearings rotating on a 35mm steel shaft. The shaft shall be fitted with helical springs designed to counterbalance the curtain weight throughout its operation. The drum shall be designed to give minimum deflection over the span.
